The Quick Way to Identify Your Top-Spending Customers
Article Highlights:
- Tell the system how often you’d like to run a report.
- This works for any report you’d like to run on a regular basis.
Suppose you want a monthly report for a specific metric in your dealership. Do you know how to find that information?
You could set a reminder to compile a list on the 1st of the month, every month. But, using Retail Management Intelligence, there’s a much easier way.
For example, let’s assume your boss wants to see the names of the dealership’s best customers. Specifically, he wants a monthly report of the overall lifetime value of the top customers for your dealership.
Here’s what you would do:
To start, you would build a report in Report Generator that ranks customers by total sales.
Use the F9 “Schedule Report” button, and tell the system how often you’d like to run the report.
When you press F9, the following screen displays:
Enter the frequency and time you want the report to run, then select the Queue (F12) button. The report will automatically print to the designated printer at the scheduled time, on whatever time frame you’ve set (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
This works for any report you’d like to run on a regular basis. All you have to do is create a report, then use the same process to schedule it to run as often as you’d like.
