The Future is Here, and It’s Powered by AI

Article Highlights:

  • When the landscape changes, winning takes a different approach.
  • For optimal profitability, time is of the essence.

In hindsight, the world changed forever in 1983. Most people weren’t aware of the revolution to come. On New Year’s Day, quietly, the Internet was born when two networks were connected using a universal language. It didn’t take long for the internet to take over, and soon, businesses were given a choice: get connected or get left in the dust.

Fast forward to 2025, and we are on the brink of another technological revolution. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is here, and there is no going back. We can be on the cutting edge of productivity, information processing, and profitability, or we can stay where we are by playing it safe, continuing to operate “in the same ways that have worked in the past,” and letting our competition have the edge.

When the landscape changes, winning demands taking a different approach. Championship-winning football coach Urban Meyer, started every season with a simple equation: E+R=O, or Event + Response = Outcome. He explained that while we can’t control events, we can control our response, which influences the outcome.

In the same vein, the introduction of AI is an opportunity. To run with the football metaphor, it’s a strip-sack fumble that’s yours to lose. You can choose to dive on it and take it to the end zone for a touchdown, or you can watch your opponent pick up the ball and seize the opportunity for themselves.

You can leverage AI to send conversational text messages to not-so-qualified leads, moving them down the funnel and closer to an appointment – while your salespeople focus on the most qualified leads right in front of them.

You can also use AI to make the most of every phone call. With automatic transcriptions, call summaries, and outcome tags in FOCUS, it’s easy to spot which customers need quick follow-up. Get alerted to calls marked as “Upset Customer” or “Ready to Buy,” ensure the right next step happens, and keep your team focused on what matters most.

Just as the internet revolutionized the world in 1983, AI is poised to do the same in 2025. Embracing AI technology isn’t just about staying competitive; it’s about seizing the opportunity to transform your business operations and achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency and success. A new landscape is here, and your response to AI will shape your outcome. The choice is clear: dive in and thrive or risk your competition seizing the opportunity for themselves. The future is here, and it’s powered by AI.
