ERA-IGNITE Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts can do wonders for your everyday tasks. Below are the most common shortcuts you can use to speed up your work in ERA-IGNITE.
Hot Keys Description:
F1 – Help | Help |
F2 – Lookup or List | Activate drop down list |
F5 – Search | Starts search function |
F9 – Add New | Add new record window displays |
F12 – Update or Select | Update/Save a record |
Alt-End | Access Application Navigator |
Alt-(Letter) | Access drop down menus at top of screen |
Alt-Tab | Moves through open windows |
Ctrl-A | Move to the beginning of a field |
Ctrl-B | Browse backwards |
Ctrl-C | Copy highlighted text |
Ctrl-F | Browse forward |
Ctrl-S | New search screen |
Ctrl-U | Undo current field |
Ctrl-V | Paste text |
Ctrl-X | Cut highlighted text |
Ctrl-Enter | Move to next required field |
Ctrl-Home | Highlight first item in list or first cell in a table |
Ctrl-Shift-Tab | Move backwards through tabs on screen |
Ctrl-Tab | Move forward through tabs on screen |
Escape | Close active subscreen window |
Left Arrow (Shift or Caps Lock on) | Collapse current selection (“-” minus sign in SEC) |
Page Down | Move backwards through subscreens |
Page Up | Move forward through subscreens |
Right Arrow (Shift or Caps Lock on) | Expand current selection (“+” plus sign in SEC) |
Shift-Tab | Move backwards one field at a time |
Spacebar | Toggle items on/off (radio button or checkbox) |
Tab | Move one field at a time through screen |
